Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Support Workers/Teaching Assistants!

We are exclusively partnered with a specialist secondary SEN provision based in Winchester, who require additional SEN support workers! The school caters for pupils working at Key Stages 3 & 4 with a variety of complex Mild Learning Difficulties, this may include: Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, Non-verbal pupils.

This role will allow support workers to be instrumental in the development of the lives of young people, assisting with both their educational and personal development in the school environment. This position will involve applicants conducting various daily activities to do with personal interaction and growth, but will mainly involve applicants supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with their emotional well-being. Successful applicants will have the following:

  • Previous personal or professional experience working with adults or children with MLD and SEN
  • A commitment and desire to improve the well-being and life's of young individuals
