A fatastic opportunity has arrisen at a fantastic Middle School in the Wimborne area. Thisisa full time role Monday to Friday and starts from February.
At this optimistic school, as a PE Teacher you will be teaching within the school's proven PE Department. Day-to-day, you will be maximising the use of the well managed equipment to enhance your teaching and further engage your pupils in the subject. In this post you will be reporting directly to the Head of Department who will be on hand to mentor you in your subject knowledge and your teaching practice. Work with students in KS2 and 3, preparing them for their PE GCSEs at the end of the academic year.
Your responsibilities will include enjoying the popularity of the PE Department and promoting the holistic philosophy of the department.
Person Specification:
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of student as a teacher / Form Tutor.
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
