MFL teacher (Spanish)

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a well regarded secondary school in Trafford who have maternity cover requirement for an MFL teacher from February half term. The majority of this timetable will involve teaching Spanish, KS3 and GCSE with some lower school French cover. This is a part time position, four days per week (Mon-Thurs) within the supportive Languages department. The faculty leader has expressed the desire to secure a Spanish specialist MFL teacher for the position, you will have full responsibilities during this position for marking, planning work and attending meetings.

  • MFL teacher, Spanish specialist (GCSE timetable)
  • Maternity cover on a 0.8 timetable, February - July 18
  • Supportive school with most recent "outstanding" Ofsted report
  • Initially employed via supply, rate of pay to match your scale MPS/UPS
  • Possibility to secure a school based contract after initial introduction
  • Situated in Trafford, good connecting transport links via M56/M60

This is an excellent opportunity for a Spanish teacher to work in an outstanding school on a long term supply basis to cover maternity, there is a potential for this to become a school based contract. Situated in Trafford, this is an 11-18 secondary school with a great reputation for high achieving students and outstanding behaviour.
