Job description

If you are a dedicated and experienced MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) instructor who aligns with our vision, we invite you to become a part of our team.

As an MFL Instructor, you will have a significant role in shaping the linguistic and cultural proficiencies of our students. Your dedication to excellence in education will aid our learners in reaching their language-learning objectives while fostering an appreciation for languages and intercultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Vibrant Teaching: Develop and deliver captivating MFL classes tailored to diverse learning preferences, creating an environment in which language acquisition truly comes to life.

Cultural Exploration: Immerse students in the rich diversity of language and culture, inspiring them to explore the world through language acquisition.

Progress Evaluation: Perform continuous assessments to monitor student advancement, offering constructive feedback and personalized assistance to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

Inclusive Atmosphere: Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that motivates students to actively interact with the language and their peers.

Collaborative Ingenuity: Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance and adapt the MFL curriculum, exchanging insights and best practices to continually enhance the language-learning experience.

Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of student attendance, performance, and development, ensuring transparency and accountability in the learning process.

Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a prerequisite: Your certified status as a qualified teacher signifies your expertise and unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier education.

Language Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in at least one modern foreign language (e.g., Spanish, French, German) showcases your command of language and your ability to inspire students.

Communication Abilities: Exceptional communication and classroom management skills establish a dynamic learning environment where students excel academically and personally.

Education Enthusiasm: A sincere passion for education and a resolute dedication to the comprehensive development and success of each student under your guidance.

Motivational Teaching Approach: An innate ability to inspire and motivate students, nurturing their curiosity and determination to achieve their language-learning aspirations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
