Are you looking for a role within an Education setting?
Teaching Personnel are working with SEN schools in the Bournemouth and Poole area, catering for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). The pupils have a range of different mental health needs, but most common is anxiety.
We are looking experienced mental health support workers to work as a '1-1 Teaching Assitant' - supporting the pupils with both their educational and mental health needs, and helping to re-engage them in education. This could be based in a primary or secondary setting, and you may be either working specifically as a 1-1 TA, or may be class based working with different pupils.
To be successful in this role you should:
- have experience supporting mental health needs
- have a clam, nurturing appraoch
- be resilient and confident dealing with challenging behaviour
- have GCSE English and Maths (C or above) and be able to support pupils with their work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
