Teaching Personnel are working with SEN schools in the Bournemouth and Poole area, catering for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). The pupils have a range of different mental health needs, but most common is anxiety. 

We are looking experienced mental health support workers to work as a '1-1 Teaching Assitant' - supporting the pupils with both their educational and mental health needs, and helping to re-engage them in education. This could be based in a primary or secondary setting, and you may be either working specifically as a 1-1 TA, or may be class based working with different pupils. 

To be successful in this role you should:

• have experience supporting mental health needs
• have a clam, nurturing appraoch
• be resilient and confident dealing with challenging behaviour
• have GCSE English and Maths (C or above) and be able to support pupils with their work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
