Maths teaching vacancy in 'Outstanding' school

If so, I am working on behalf of a mainstream secondary school in the Fylde area who are seeking a Teacher of Maths from ASAP to cover an absence within the Maths department on a full-time basis. This is an 'Outstanding' school which is located in the Lytham area of the Fylde coast, where results are higher than the national average.

The incoming Maths Teacher will be required to teach Maths lessons across KS3-5 with KS3/4 being the majority of the time table. Some of the work will be left initally for the incoming Maths Teacher, however you will then be expected to plan and deliver your own Maths lessons following schemes of work within the Maths department.

The length of the role cannot yet be confirmed due to the unexpected absence of the Maths Teacher however it is likely to be until February, at least.

The successful Maths Teacher MUST have:

- Valid UK PGCE with QTS

- Specialism in Mathematics

- Experience of teaching KS3/4 Maths with some experience up to KS5 (ideally)

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality Maths lessons
