Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant

Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary school -Barnsley

Are you a recent Maths graduate looking for the opportunity to begin your teaching career, with the opportunity of progressing into teacher training?

Do you feel you have strong subject knowledge and the ability to enthuse secondary school students in Maths?

Would you like the opportunity to work inside an experienced and supportive Maths department as a Maths graduate teaching assistant?

This Secondary School in the North of Barnsley is looking to hire a recent Maths graduate with a passion for the core subject, and a willingness to begin their teaching career inside a college that puts their students' academic progress first?

Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Graduates with 2:1 or above in Maths
  • Ideal preparation before progressing into teacher training
  • Ability to work alongside experienced and supportive staff department
  • Gain knowledge of classroom techniques and methods
  • Communicate in 1:1 and group sessions
  • Supportive senior leadership team
  • Fantastic public transport links
  • Paid £300-£325 per week, term time only

The School - This Secondary School based in Barnsley offers fantastic transport links and a number of unique facilities inside the Maths department, including purpose built laboratories for the students to achieve the best possible grades. The college has an inclusive approach for its staff and students, with their health and wellbeing the first thing considered when entering the school.
