Maths Teacher - York

The Job Role:

• To work within an Alternative Provision to deliver Key Stage 3 and GCSE Maths
• Establish and maintain trusting and positive relationships with vulnerable children
• Tailor specific interventions to learner's needs such as Global Development Delay or Learning Difficulties
• Use areas of interest and resources available to engage pupils 

Minimum Teacher Requirements

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Hold a Degree in Mathematics, or have successfully completed a conversion course
• Be familiar with the new GCSE grading Scheme and have a proven track record of raising attainment
• Be able to provide a 6 year career history including referees from your two most recent employers 
• Be committed to supporting vulnerable children
