Maths Teacher - Oldham

Are you an inspirational Maths Teacher looking for you next career move? Do you want to work at an Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' secondary school?

Due to a restructuring of the staffing team at our client school in Oldham, Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Maths teacher to start from Easter 2019. This role is due to last until the end of the academic year in the first instance; however there is a strong possibility of the role progressing into the new academic year in September.

  • Full time Teacher of Mathematics role from Easter 2019
  • Until at least July 2019
  • Pay in line with MPS (£23,720-£39,406)
  • Teaching Maths up to GCSE level

Our client school is located close to Oldham town centre in an iconic grammar school building. Due to it being set very close to a town centre, it has excellent public transports links and is also easily accessible from the M60 Manchester Outer Ring Road. Due to recent refurbishments throughout the school, students have access to fantastic modern facilities.

"Our aim is that every individual will experience success. That doesn't come magically - it is the result of hard work, perseverance and commitment by the students, good teaching, encouragement and feedback from staff. Everyone at our school is expected to give their all!" Headteacher.

As a Maths Teacher at this 'Outstanding' 11-18 selective school, you will be expected to plan and deliver high quality and engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4. Prospective candidates are required to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, as well as relevant qualifications. Experience teaching up to GCSE Maths is highly desirable, and NQTs are encouraged to apply.

If you would like to apply for this post as a Maths Teacher, please apply via the link below or send an updated CV to Chris Beckenham at Manchester North Secondary directly, alternatively call on the number provided for further information.
