Teacher of Maths Needed

  • Fixed term teacher of Maths post, October start
  • Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 to different ability students
  • Highly competitive pay rates in line with MPS/UPS

Are you a teacher of Maths seeking a position in an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school? Are you seeking a temporary position starting in October?

If so, Teaching personnel are currently working on behalf of our client secondary school that is seeking a teacher of Maths to join their department from October until the end of the academic year. This is initially a temporary post with the opportunity to become permanent in September 2018.

• Fixed term Teacher of Maths post, October start

• Get paid in line with MPS/UPS (£22,467 - £38,250 per annum)

• Modern secondary school with excellent facilities available to staff

This mixed 11-16 secondary school is located in Loughborough and is easily accessible via the A6 and from the surrounding areas. This is a new built secondary school offering large classrooms and exceptional provisions for all students to reach their maximum potential. The school has an excellent reputation within the local community, with the majority of students coming from the diverse surrounding areas therefore those that speak English as a second language is above the national average. In their most recent Ofsted inspection the school received ‘Good’ with Outstanding Personal Development and Wellbeing and is in the top 10% of schools nationally for pupil’s progress.

The incoming Maths teacher will:

• Have a UK QTS specialising in Maths

• Teach Maths to different ability students across KS3 and KS4

• Develop differentiated Maths lessons to keep all students motivated and engaged

• Work as a team to with hold the high standard set by the faculty
