Maths Teacher
The Head Teacher of a 'Good' school in the East Riding of Yorkshire seeks to appoint an Maths Teacher from September 2019. This position will initially be for one term until January 2020 with the potential of a permanent contract following this period.
The Academy
A large secondary academy based in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The academy has a Positive Discipline Behaviour Policy, this is fully supported by a team of Senior Leaders. This academy forms part of a Multi Academy Trust that has an excellent reputation within the area. The school plays a vital part in serving its community.
The Role
This Maths Teacher role will see the successful candidate teaching English Language and Literature to pupils at KS3 and GCSE level. There may be an opportunity to teach A-level for the right applicant. GCSE exams are currently on the AQA specification. You will form an integral part of a well established department, schemes of work are already in place, however the successful candidate will be requested to bring their own innovation to lesson planning.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (or international equivalent), you will have experience of teaching Maths to GCSE level. You will be highly motivated and inspirational teacher that wants the best outcomes for your pupils.
