Maths Teacher

An opportunity to work in a secondary school known for its recent climb in performance tables due to a new senior leadership team.

• Full-time Maths teacher.
• Required from October half term on an ongoing basis.
• Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school in Bury.
• Teaching a full timetable and taking on planning and marking responsibilities across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
• Paid to teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604).
• Must have QTS and experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level before.

The incoming Maths teacher will be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated Maths lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning.

It will also be important to promote positive behaviour amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.

Our client school is in Bury and can be accessed via the M66 and A56 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Rochdale. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from neighbouring areas such as Whitefield and Prestwich.
