Maths Teacher

I am recruiting a Maths Teacher for a full time position starting in September at a comprehensive secondary school in Scarborough. If you are a trained Maths Teacher and hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), please do not hesitate to apply for this post by following the link on this page.

The successful Mathematics Teacher will teach across the full age range up to GCSE level with a varying range of academic abilities. You will develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. You will be responsible for facilitating learning by establishing a relationship with students, and by the use of creative resources and a positive learning environment. This is a permanent position for the appropriate candidate, after a qualifying period through the agency.

For this full time temporary position, the ideal Mathematics Teacher will possess the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status (NQT are welcome to apply)
• Relevant degree
• Recent experience of delivering Mathematics to GCSE
• Experience with the Edexcel exam board
• Good classroom management skills
