Maths Teacher - Wirral

  • Part-time post, January 2017
  • Paid to scale
  • Deadline for applications 18th November

11-18 co-educational, large school on the Wirral require a Maths teacher to start a part-time post in January for two terms. There is a potential for this to be a permanent post after the summer term for the right candidate.

We’re looking for a good to outstanding Maths teacher, experienced in teaching KS3-KS4 Mathematics, experience in KS5 would be advantageous but not necessary for this post. Located 10 minutes walk from their nearest train station and 5 minutes drive from the M53, this is a large school with over 1000 pupils in the main school and over 150 students in sixth form as well.

Noted by OFSTED; “The outstanding leadership of the Headteacher is transforming the school. He is ably assisted by an effective senior leadership team. “

Highlights of this Maths teaching post;

• Part-time post for 2 term from January 2017

• You will be paid in line with your teacher scale point

• Excellent opportunities for career progression and career development

• Access to the schools regular CPD training

The school are open to applications from NQTs or experienced Maths teacher with a preference for someone with strong knowledge in their subject. To apply for this Maths post you will need to be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS and have school based references.
