Full-Time Maths Teacher – Secondary School in Preston (1-Term Contract)
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract Length: 1 Term
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our supportive and high-achieving Secondary School in Preston for the Autumn Term, starting 1st September 2025.

This is a full-time position for one term, suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs with a strong understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Contribute to a collaborative and dynamic department

• Monitor and support students’ progress through effective assessment

• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to supporting students of all abilities

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
