Contract: Full-time, Permanent (or long-term depending on your needs)

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Lancaster from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a thriving Mathematics department.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)

Plan and assess effectively to ensure all students make strong progress

Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Work collaboratively within the Maths department and wider school staff

Contribute to extracurricular or enrichment opportunities where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
-
A commitment to raising achievement and supporting students of all abilities

Ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
