Job Title: Maths Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Develop and deliver engaging maths lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback to support their learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Utilise effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a productive classroom
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development

Required Qualifications:

  • PGCE, SCITT, Teach First, QTS, QTLS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Passion for education and supporting student learning
  • Excellent subject knowledge in Maths
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

The Maths Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. The role may involve some additional duties such as attending staff meetings and parent-teacher conferences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
