Maths Teacher – Permanent Role – Secondary School in Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent (via school or after successful supply period)
Location: Central Manchester
Salary: MPS/UPS – £32,916 to £51,047 per annum
A thriving and diverse secondary school in Central Manchester is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its high-performing Mathematics department. The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering high-quality teaching and improving pupil attainment.
About the Role:

Full teaching timetable across KS3 and KS4

Opportunities to deliver KS5 for the right candidate

Use of state-of-the-art resources and tailored assessment tools

Strong emphasis on STEM across the curriculum

Collaborative team planning with weekly CPD and department meetings
Ideal Candidate Profile:

UK QTS and a specialism in Mathematics
-
Passionate about supporting students of all abilities, including those with SEND and EAL
-
Experience with a range of teaching strategies and assessment methods
-
Ability to motivate and engage students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
