Teaching Personnel are currently working with a PRU in Farnborough who are in need of a Fully Qualified Mathematics Teacher. The school caters for secondary aged pupils who have social, emotional, mental and/or behaviour problems. The School serves up to 100 pupils with a range of educational needs and they are currently undergoing a total new build following a major investment from Hampshire County Council. The future site will be remodeled and refurbished to a high standard and will provide excellent educational facilities which rival any similar setting and this means an exciting new era in our role in the local community. All students follow the National Curriculum, working towards reintegration, transfer to college or examination courses. Class sizes are very small with normally 6-8 pupils in a class with 1-2 Teaching Assistants supporting the Teacher.
The ideal candidate would be a Fully Qualified Teacher who specialises in Mathematics. You would need to be able to work full time. If you have previous experience working with SEN children this is an advantage however not essential. If you are trained in Team Teach this would also be an advantage.
