Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a proven track record of inspiring students to achieve their full potential. This role involves teaching Maths to students of varying abilities across Key Stages 3 and 4, and contributing to the development of the Maths curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver schemes of work in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Provide a stimulating classroom environment that promotes independent learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and professional development activities.
- Support and contribute to the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in training opportunities.
