About the Role
A secondary school in Blackpool is seeking a talented and motivated Maths Specialist to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher or a strong Early Career Teacher who is passionate about delivering high‑quality mathematics education and inspiring students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
The successful candidate will join a supportive department and play a key role in driving attainment, engagement, and confidence in Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons across KS3 KS4 & KS5
- Plan, assess, and track student progress effectively
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Participate in broader school life and uphold strong behaviour and safeguarding standards
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
- The ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
- A commitment to raising standards and continuous professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
