Cardiff This Cardiff Secondary school are looking to hire a Maths teacher to commence a full time Maths position in September due to a recent retirement. This successful secondary school are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher who will take on full responsibilities and add to an already high performing department.

The assignment is due to commence after in September, so the school are looking to see any potentials before the end of this academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths teacher looking to work in a green school, where students achieve above national averages and are respectful.

The currently has just over 1300 pupils on roll and in 2016 the school achieved excellent results with 63% of pupils achieving at least 5 A*-C grades including Maths and English. The Maths department is larger than the average where the school employ 6 full time Teachers and 1 Part time.

• Pay in line with your teachers scale point MPS-UPS

• Teaching students who achieve well academically

• Full time position initially on a long term supply basis from September with the potential to become permanent

Situated in North Cardiff the school has local public transport routes and can be easily accessed. If you are a Maths teacher with QTS in the UK apply to be considered. You will need to be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS certificate and have suitable school based references. Interviews and lesson observations will be a part of the interview process for this post.
