About the Role

We’re seeking individuals who can deliver high-quality, tailored Maths tuition either one-to-one or in small groups. Whether you're an experienced tutor or have a background in education, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your local community.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths sessions based on individual learning needs

• Adapt your teaching approach to support different abilities and learning styles

• Track progress and build learners’ confidence in key mathematical concepts

• Encourage problem-solving, resilience, and independent thinking

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience in tutoring or education (especially in Maths or Functional Skills)

• Strong knowledge of the Functional Skills Maths curriculum

• A patient, approachable teaching style and a passion for helping learners grow

• A teaching qualification is a bonus but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
