Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Bridport
Full-Time | Permanent | Start Date: April

A progressive, welcoming, and high‑achieving secondary school in Bridport, Dorset is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their successful mathematics department. The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:
• Deliver engaging, well‑structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Support strong student progress through creative teaching and a varied curriculum
• Use assessment effectively to monitor learning and inform future planning
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom where all students can thrive
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
• Participate fully in wider school life, enrichment activities, and extracurricular events

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:
• A qualified Maths Teacher with QTS, or an ECT currently completing training
• Confident in delivering Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Passionate about raising achievement and delivering dynamic, engaging lessons
• Reflective, ambitious, and committed to ongoing development
• Able to build strong relationships and motivate learners of all abilities


Requirements

• QTS (or working towards QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
