Maths Teacher

Join the Maths department of a large and supportive school in Bolton.

-      Full time Maths Teacher

-      Start Date January 2026

-      Paid in line to teaching scale M1 – UPS3

You will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and GCSE Maths and will be expected to take on a full timetable. The successful candidate will also be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside delivering lessons to meet the needs of learners at varying levels of learning ability. It will also be important to monitor and assess pupils’ progress and be able to report this back to the Maths department should it require further discussion.

Our client school is in Bolton and is easily accessible via car from surronding areas such as Swinton, Bury, Worsley and Horwich. For candidates who do not drive, the school is also easily accessible via public transport on bus and tram.

To be considered for this position, the incoming teacher must have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level
