Job Title: Secondary Maths Teacher

Location: East Riding of Yorkshire

Daily Rate: GBP130 - GBP160

  • Are you a fully qualified Maths Teacher?
  • Are you seeking full-time work for October/November 2019?
  • Do you have experience delivering Maths up to GCSE level?

If so, one of our client schools in the East Riding area are seeking a Maths Teacher to cover a long-term sickness. This position is to begin from October/November 2019 and will continue till the end of the academic year. The role is initially a long-term, temporary post. However, for an excellent Teacher of Maths there will be the potential for a permanent position.  

You will be required to teach across KS3 – KS4 supporting mixed ability classes until Year 9 and then teaching GCSE Maths following the OCR examination board. To be successful within this post you must therefore have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience in delivering Maths at least up to GCSE level
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • At least two years experience delivering the UK National Curriculum
  • Be passionate about your subject and working with children and young people
  • Be flexible, punctual, professional and approachable

This position is subject to an Enhanced Child Only DBS Check and must be registered with the Update Service (assistance is provided). You must also be able to provide educational based teaching references to be considered.
