Make a Difference in Maths Education – Flexible 1:1 Tutoring Role
Are you confident teaching Maths and passionate about helping learners succeed? We’re looking for experienced Maths tutors to support pupils on a 1:1 basis across KS1 to KS4, starting September 2025.
As a tutor with TP Tutors, you’ll work with pupils who need targeted support, whether to build confidence, prepare for exams, or catch up on missed learning. Sessions are held face-to-face in homes or local community spaces, allowing for tailored, effective support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 Maths tuition tailored to each pupil’s needs
- Support learners with a variety of goals including SATs and GCSE preparation
- Track progress and adapt teaching strategies to close knowledge gaps
We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
- Confident teaching Maths at KS1–KS4
- Ability to tailor sessions to individual needs and learning styles
- Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills
- Passion for helping pupils grow in confidence and ability
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can assist)
- Right to work in the UK
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
