Job Opportunity: Maths Teacher at Ofsted Good Secondary School in Ashton 

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and instilling a love for mathematics? Teaching Personnel is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted Good secondary school in Ashton. This full-time position commences after Easter, offering stability until the end of the academic year, with the potential for permanent placement based on exceptional performance.

Role Overview: As a Maths Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring students to excel in mathematics and develop their analytical thinking skills. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Curriculum Delivery: Delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring the curriculum is covered comprehensively.
  2. Differentiated Instruction: Implementing varied teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  3. Assessment and Feedback: Conducting regular assessments to monitor student progress and providing constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
  4. Classroom Management: Establishing a positive learning environment conducive to academic growth and fostering mutual respect among students.
  5. Collaborative Planning: Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and share best practices for enhancing the Maths curriculum.
  6. Parental Engagement: Maintaining open communication with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns effectively.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Previous experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level is desirable but not essential.
