About the School

This school is searching for a maths teacher to join their dedicated team. With a combination of a hands-on and minds-on approach this engineering focused school looks to develop students' employability skills alongside their academic progress. In partnership with Brunel University London and a host of major, industry leading, employers they give their students a great opportunity to discuss and plan their future.

The technically orientated courses aim to build an innovative, inspiring and motivational learning environment. They have created a culture of mutual respect and personal development where students not only gain a strong education but develop personal and social skills.

About the role

Maths Teacher

Secondary school level KS3-5

5 days a week

Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role

Delivering inventive and inclusive lessons with a practical element in line with the National Curriculum

The incoming maths teacher is expected to raise attainment and work with the business partnerships to improve the students employability.

There is an expectation to plan lesson and mark student's work whilst creating more inspiring practical elements.

Location

The school is accessible via Northwood Hills underground, metropolitan line (5 minute walk).

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification (BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching maths at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)

A resolute and energetic attitude
