Full-time Maths teacher require for a Secondary school in Bury from January 2020.
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a client Secondary school in Bury who is currently looking for a Maths teacher. Due to a teacher going on maternity leave after the Christmas break, our client school are in of a Maths teacher to start in January 2020 until at least the end of the academic year. There is also the potential of this being continued in the new academic year.
Our client school is located in Bury and is accessible via several areas surrounding Greater Manchester such as Prestwich, Rochdale and Bolton. For applicants who do not drive, the school can also be accessed via public transport from near by areas such as Whitefield, Prestwich and central Bury.
- Full-time Maths teacher required from January 2020.
- Taking on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside teaching a full timetable.
- Pay in line with scale point NQT-UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490).
- Teaching pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Experience teaching Maths to pupils up to GCSE level is required.
Our client school has been noted for their welcoming staff community and culture over the years, providing a strong support system for all staff to provide them with the most efficient teaching methods. The incoming Maths can expect to work with some minor learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia in lower set classes.
The incoming Maths teacher will hold the following roles and responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver Maths lessons to meet needs of individuals at various learning levels across set groups of students.
- Promote positive behaviour management amongst students and in line with the school behaviour policy.
- Monitor and evaluate pupil progress and report these back to senior members of staff in order to take appropriate action for individual pupils attainment.
Our client Secondary School is located in Bury and can be accessed via the M66 and A56 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Salford. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas including Bolton, Salford and central Manchester.
