About the School:

The successful candidate will be joining a school which has been rated 'GOOD' in all categories of its latest OFSTED report. Being part of the academy benefits the school greatly as the academy trust provides a strong leadership role. If you join this school you can be safe in the knowledge of the fact that you will be supported greatly by both the schools leadership team and the academy.

The report highlights that the academy "is well-informed and makes regular checks on their work. This enables it to provide effective challenge and support to its leaders".

The behaviour of the pupils in this school is GOOD and so you can expect minimal disruption however the successful candidate should still be able to demonstrate good behaviour management. The report highlights this: "Students' attitudes to learning are overwhelmingly positive. They take a pride in their work and behave well both in lessons and during social times. "

Although the school is overall a 'GOOD' school, there are a number of improvements to be made in order to achieve the 'OUTSTANDING' grade the school is very capable of achieving.

One of the suggested improvements is that pupils are not always challenged enough to think for themselves and so the successful candidate should strive to engage and challenge the pupils at all times.
