Maths Teacher - Bolton

Full-time Maths teacher required for an 'Outstanding' Church of England Secondary school in Bolton from January 2019.

  • Maths teacher required on a full-time basis from January 2019
  • Must hold QTS specialising in Maths and have experience teaching at GCSE level
  • Pay in line with new MPS and UPS scale - £23,720 - £39,406 per annum
  • Covering a maternity gap for twelve months

Our client Secondary school is graded 'Outstanding' across the board on their latest Ofsted report and now wish to recruit a Maths teacher who is available cover a planned maternity gap. The school that wish to recruit a Maths teacher are well respected in the area and will provide continuous support throughout your placement. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive Secondary school that is committed to the future development of their teachers.

The school will consider applications from teachers of all experience levels.

In order to be considered for this teaching role, you must be enthusiastic in your teaching and be able to create an interactive and engaging learning environment for your pupils. The school have outlined that the incoming Maths teacher will be able to plan lessons effectively in line with the National Curriculum showing that they are able to use alternative teaching methods to cater for all types of students. You will be teaching Maths to mixed ability sets and must be able to cater for all students no matter what their ability, ensuring that they are continuously engaged and pushing to better their grades.

Our client Secondary school is a Christian faith school and whilst it is not essential to be of Christian faith, you must respect the ethos of the school.

Our client Secondary school is located in Farnworth and serves a wide catchment area within and beyond Bolton; it is larger than average and boasts to be in the top 3% schools nationally. The school has an abundance of public transport links and can be easily accessible from surrounding areas; Bolton, Bury, Salford and Wigan.
