The UK's leading education agency, Teaching Personnel, are currently supporting a co-educational secondary school in Birkenhead as they wish to appoint a Maths teacher on a full time basis ASAP.

Due to an open vacancy in the Maths department, the secondary school located in Birkenhead are looking for a dedicated teacher of Maths to join the department as soon as possible. This will be a full time Maths teacher post until February initially, with a view of becoming permanent if the incoming Maths teacher is a good fit for the school.

• Teaching a full Maths timetable across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)

• Both Newly Qualified Maths teachers and those with experience are encouraged to apply
• Applicants must hold QTS, specialising in secondary Maths

Role and Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full timetable in line with the current national curriculum (KS3 and KS4)
• Confident delivering lessons to all pupil abilities and be flexible in your approach to teaching.
• Take on full departmental responsibility: planning and marking, revision sessions, internal training and parent's evening when required.
