Teaching Personnel is seeking a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Oldham this September. Supporting pupils aged 4-19 with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), you'll play a key role in helping young people develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll provide tailored support throughout the school day, helping pupils engage with learning and develop social, emotional, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: ✅ Provide one-to-one and small-group support
✅ Support communication using visual aids, PECS, and AAC systems
✅ Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
✅ Assist with sensory and learning needs
✅ Encourage independence and life skills development
✅ Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families
✅ Provide personal care when required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
