Maths Teacher - Bath
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
A highly regarded secondary school in Bath is looking for a Maths Teacher to start in January 2019. This is a full-time role where you are expected to perform all duties of a Maths Teacher including planning and assessment. The likelihood is that you are needed until the end of the academic term.
The school received academy status in 2012 and has been rated GOOD by OFSTED ever since. This school is the only secondary school in the trust and has 6 primary schools within it. This means the school still feels really autonomous in its decision making.
You must have QTS and have at least one year's experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4. A-level experience is desirable but not totally necessary. Behaviour is pretty good in the school so behaviour management is needed of course but it's more weighted towards teaching ability as this school wants the push their pupils to the best of their abilities.
In return, you will....
- Get competitive pay from £110 - £180 per day, dependent on experience
- Teaching in one of the best schools in Bath
- An opportunity to go onto school contract in September 2019
- Great opportunity for an NQT to get fantastic support
If you are interested, please contact me immediately. I look forward to your call.
