Join a vibrant secondary school in South Manchester looking for an enthusiastic Maths graduate to work as a subject specialist Teaching Assistant from January – July.

The successful candidate will support students in class and on a one-to-one basis to raise attainment and help students engage in mainstream education. Additionally, they will work under the direction of the school SENCO to provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Social Emotional Mental Health needs.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be educated to degree level with a specialism in Mathematics.
• Have experience tutoring GCSE Mathematics and/or experience working with young people.
• Act as a positive role model for all students.
• Be committed to ensuring that students achieve their potential regardless of their background.

The school is located in South Manchester, a short drive from exit 4 on the M56 and easily accessible via Metro links from the city centre and public bus routes. The school has been judged by Ofsted to be a ‘Good’ school with ‘Outstanding’ features for teaching and pastoral support. Due to recent developments, the school now has a modern building with excellent facilities throughout.
