Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Maths Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Newport.
The role of a Maths Cover Supervisor would be assisting the school’s Maths department, leading pre-planned lessons, and assisting with pupil support as and when needed.
With universities and teacher training courses looking for more and more classroom-based experience prior to being enrolled, roles like this are a great way to get your foot in the door and build that all-important experience!
You will be joining a thriving and popular secondary school in Newport. This school is 10 minutes from the city centre and easily accessible on public transport from within Newport. The school has close links to the M4 so would also be easily commutable from areas outside of Newport.
The ideal Maths Cover Supervisor role will have:
- An undergraduate degree within Maths
- A passion for working with students and helping them achieve
- Desire to gain more experience in a school setting to pursue a teacher training course.

Requirements:
- DBS on the update service
- EWC registration
- Willing to provide 2 references
- Willing to complete our Level 2 Safeguarding Course
