Job Title: Maths and English Tutor - Qualified

Location:  Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

Job Duties:

1. Delivering high-quality Maths and English tutoring sessions to students.

2. Developing personalised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.

3. Monitoring and assessing students' progress regularly to adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

4. Providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their Maths and English skills.

5. Collaborating with other tutors and educators to enhance teaching methods and resources.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Maths and English.

- Proven experience in tutoring Maths and English to students of varying abilities.

- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Maths and English.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring Maths and English.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant subject area.

- Experience working with students with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
