Job description

Job Title: Qualified Tutor for Maths and English

Location: Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

- Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in Maths and English to students - Develop personalised lesson plans based on the individual needs of each student - Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly - Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent - Specialism in Maths and English education - Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring Maths and English - Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

- Proficiency in Maths and English subjects - Ability to motivate and inspire students - Strong organisational skills - Patience and empathy towards students - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Education - Additional certifications in teaching or tutoring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
