Maths & English Tutor – DE7 (Ilkeston)

Are you passionate about helping young people succeed in Maths and English? We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable tutors to deliver 1:1, face-to-face tuition in the DE7 (Ilkeston) area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in building confidence, improving attainment, and reaching their full potential.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver engaging 1:1 Maths and/or English tuition

Plan personalised lessons to suit each student’s needs and ability

Support students to build confidence and close learning gaps

Track progress and provide regular feedback

Create a positive, motivating learning environment

What We’re Looking For
Strong knowledge of Maths and/or English (KS1–KS4 or GCSE level)

Experience working with children or young people (tutoring/teaching preferred)

Confident delivering face-to-face sessions

Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Right to work in the UK

Schedule: Monday to Friday (flexible hours)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
