Secondary SEN Tutor – DE24, Derby City

£25–£30 per hour | Monday–Friday | School Hours | Part-Time

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? TP Tutors is looking for a compassionate and dedicated tutor to provide tailored one-to-one support to secondary-aged pupils in the Derby City (DE24) area.

About the Role

You will work with students who require additional educational support, helping them to re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. Sessions will be delivered on a one-to-one basis and tailored to each pupil's individual needs.

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Delivering personalised tuition to secondary-aged students.
✔ Supporting pupils with SEN, including those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.
✔ Planning engaging lessons that meet individual learning objectives.
✔ Monitoring progress and providing session feedback.
✔ Building positive relationships with pupils, families, and other professionals.

What We're Looking For

✔ Experience working with secondary-aged students.
✔ Previous SEN experience in a teaching, tutoring, support, or care setting.
✔ Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
✔ A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
✔ Right to work in the UK.
