Mathematics Teacher required for an Easter start date

Teachers must have Teaching qualifications and experience teaching Maths

About the role

  • A South London school are looking to hire a Maths Teacher on a full time basis till the end of academic year, at a minimum
  • Teachers will require experience teaching in secondary schools, at KS3-5 level, and need UK teaching qualifications such as a QTS or PGCE
  • This specific role is for a long term position with an option to go permanent.
  • Creating engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum whilst having good behaviour control.
  • Teachers will be expected to plan and prepare lessons as well as marking, assessing and providing feedback on the students work.
  • Teachers who are willing and able to cover other subjects would be ideal, but not necessary.
  • The ideal candidate would be willing to participate in school activities; any experience with extra curricular events or SEN would be welcome.

About the School

An "outstanding" based in Twickenham is looking to hire core subject teachers for an Easter start date, with a specific recruitment drive for the Mathematics department. The leadership at the school are looking to secure the staff for the Easter term as soon as possible, and as such interviews are taking place in the next two weeks. Potential teachers must have experience teaching at Secondary schools and hold teaching qualifications, whether this is a QTS, PGCE or other.

Ofsted have rated the school as "outstanding" and have a decisive and cohesive leadership. They were quote saying:

Location

The school is accessible via Strawberry Hill station (8 minute walk).

Requirements

The school are looking for candidates with UK recognised teaching qualifications such as PGCE or QTS.

Any graduates or future teachers require a bachelor degree from an established university and interest or some experience working in education.

Teachers would require experience teaching Maths at secondary level (from KS3-KS4).

Expect an eager teacher with good behaviour control.
