Full time Maths teacher required for large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Blackburn.

Large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Blackburn requires a full time Maths Teacher in the new academic year. Due to an upcoming maternity leave within the Maths department, the school seek to appoint a Maths teacher on a full basis starting in September.

The school are accepting applications from both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers and wish to arrange interviews at the earliest convenience.

  • Full time temporary Maths teacher required for September 2019 start.
  • Maternity cover, initially secured until the end of the academic year (2019/2020)
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23820 - £39,406 per annum) *Experience dependent
  • Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school in central Blackburn
  • Great location, accessible via the M65 motorway

It is essential that the successful Maths Teacher has experience delivering a range of lessons to meet the needs of all learners to Key Stage Three, Four and Five level.

With plans of further expansion, there are a number of upcoming opportunities for aspiring middle leaders in education. The successful Maths teacher will join a department of eight teachers and an experienced Lead Maths Practitioner and will be expected to partake in departmental responsibilities of collaborative planning and marking.

Located in Blackburn, our partner Secondary school can be accessed via the M65 motorway. For non drivers, there are an abundance of public transportation links that lead directly to the school.
