Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant | Cambridge

Are you about to graduate with a Maths degree and are ready to start your next journey? 

Teaching Personnel are working with an excellent Secondary School in the Cambridgeshire area that is looking for a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant.

Located in the heart of Cambridge is a dynamic, innovative led school which provides fantastic staff training and they have a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant position starting in September. This is a perfect opportunity for those of you looking to gain experience with the view to potentially grow into a Secondary Teacher.

This Cambridgeshire based Secondary School is renowned for its innovative and dynamic curriculum, one that specialises in offering students the opportunity to develop at a rapid pace, whilst gaining fantastic hands on education experience. Strong and inspiring leadership, the school has become a popular choice for parents and provides a real sense of purpose and passion for Maths, hence the need for Maths Graduate Teaching Assistants.

What they are looking for

Starting ASAP, they are looking for a Math graduate, ideally, you’ll be an aspiring Teacher, and come with plenty of passion, drive and confidence. As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working with KS3/ KS4 students who are passionate about Maths and have a track record of doing exceptionally well in exams, so confidence with the ability to inspire and raise attainment is essential.

You’ll be supporting outstanding teaching & learning, with students who love the subject and want to do well. As your experience grows the school will be looking to put the right person through teacher training and progress them onto becoming a Teacher through Teaching Personnel’s “Future Teachers” Programme.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
