Maternity Cover Teacher Needed - Whitechapel

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a client primary school in the Whitechapel area to find a vibrant and knowledgeable Year 1 teacher to provide maternity cover on a full time basis from after half-term to the end of the Summer term minimum.

The school has a strong vision and creative curriculum with particularly strong commitment to the Arts, Sports and Music. The children are eager to learn and the staff willing to share their experience. The school also has strong links to the local community and supportive governors and parents.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified teacher with experience in a Year 1 classroom and able to prepare work for students at varying levels of ability. You should be able to demonstrate the skills required to work successfully as part of a team, as well as using own initiative. You should also be inspiring and a great role model to the pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
