Manchester English Teacher immediately required- Manchester

A full time position commnencing as soon as possible for a Fully Qualified Teacher with an English specialism. The position commences as soon as possible and runs untill the end of the academic year. This role is a specialised role which would suit a Teacher who has a vast amount of experience working with pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour.

This particular Setting is a Pupil Referral Unit which is located across 9 different sites in Manchester.The Setting provides education for pupils 11-16 who are being educated outside of Mainstream Schools. Pupils who attend the setting may be being educated out of mainstream for a variety of reasons including: social, emotional and mental health needs and pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour. The main aim of the setting is to support pupils and integrate them back into a mainstream; however this is not always a possibility.

This role will involve planning and delivering lessons in English to support pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour in reaching their full optimal potential. You will also be required to support pupils who can behaviour in an extremely challenging manner so it would be ideal for a Teacher who has extensive experience in this particular area.

In order to be considered for this position you will need:

- Fully Qualified Teacher Status

- Experience within a Specialist Setting

- Experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour
