Male PE Teacher

Job description

A school in Manchester is seeking a Male PE Teacher to join the tram in February 2021.

The role will involve delivering lessons on both a theoretical and practical basis.

Requirements for this position are as follows:

  • QTS.
  • Ability to teach PE to A-Level.
  • Experience teaching a variety of different sports.

It is essential that the applicant will be able to:

  • Prepare students for both GCSE and A-Level exams.
  • Deliver practical lessons including Football, Rugby, Basketball, Athletics.
  • Holding intervention sessions whenever necessary.
  • Feeding back progress data to the Head of Department.
  • Ensuring students who are disengaged are inspired to want to participate in practical lessons.
  • Providing information on the benefits of health and fitness to students.
  • Working with support staff to aid students with SEN, ensuring sessions are made accessible to these pupils
