Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – SEN Schools, Bradford

Location: Bradford
Pay: £90 – £105 per day
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential?
We’re recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for specialist and inclusive schools across Bradford, providing vital classroom and 1:1 support to students with a variety of needs, including Autism (ASC), SEMH, PMLD, and communication difficulties.

The Role:

  • Support pupils in class or in small groups, helping them access learning and build independence.

  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement differentiated teaching and behaviour strategies.

  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication support where needed.

  • Encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in SEN, SEMH, education, care, or youth work.

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach.

  • Full-time availability (term-time preferred).

  • Moving & Handling, Team Teach, or Makaton training desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
