About the Role

We’re looking for a kind, calm, and committed Learning Support Assistant to join a brilliant Special Educational Needs School in Bradford. You’ll be working closely with pupils who need that extra bit of support to feel confident and succeed in class — helping them find their rhythm and celebrate the small wins that make big differences.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs in class and small group settings
  • Building trusted relationships with pupils and helping them feel safe and motivated
  • Working closely with teachers and SLT to adapt lessons and provide targeted help
  • Celebrating every milestone — big or small — with your pupils

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people (in schools, youth work, or care)
  • A patient, positive attitude and great communication skills
  • Confidence supporting pupils with SEND (autism, ADHD, or SEMH experience is a bonus)
  • A genuine desire to help children feel included, valued, and capable
