Long Term Maths Teacher

Are you a confident and passionate Maths Teacher, with previous experience of delivering inclusive learning and a desire to teach Special Educational Needs pupils between the ages of 6-16 years?

Our partner school are looking to appoint an additional Maths Teacher for their growing SEN school.  

• Long term position, with the view to go permanent for the right candidate
• Teaching GCSE Maths, to a small class of up to 10 students between the ages of 11-16 years.

The school recognises that for some children to achieve their potential, parents and professionals must spend a little more time and energy putting together a support package that is going to be meaningful and effective.   For children and young people whose needs are more complex, the school creates bespoke provisions which aim to build a personal curriculum to develop a child’s communication, emotional regulation, independent living skills and access to the community.

The Successful Applicant:

• Should have a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS)
• Will have experience teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4.
• Will have excellent subject knowledge. 
• Should either have experience of working with students with SEMH or ASD, supporting communication difficulties and complex needs or have a strong interest and a passion to teach pupils with SEN.
• Must hold a Full UK Driving License and have own transport, due to the location of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
